How much money do I need to renovate a bathroom?

How long does a bathroom renovation typically take to complete?

A typical bathroom renovation can take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks depending on the size and scope of works involved. Our team will provide a clear plan for the project with indicative timeframes for each of the stages. Unexpected delays in construction can happen however our team will do their best to manage these and notify you.

Where should I shop for supplies?

Anywhere you’d like! There are many options and it can be overwhelming shopping for tiles, tapware and bathroom accessories. Shopping around can save you money and each store will offer different products at different prices. As with most things you get what you pay for. We’d be happy to suggest some of our preferred suppliers if that helps.

Where can I save money ?

There are many ways to save money when renovating a bathroom. These may include reducing the overall tiled area, using existing layouts and floor plans and taking the time to shop around for your products and accessories. Our team are happy to share other cost saving ideas and advice throughout the planning stage.

Do you remove asbestos?

Yes. The Watkinson Bathroom team are qualified to remove asbestos and dispose of it during your bathroom renovation.

Are you insured?

Yes. Watkinson Bathrooms are insured for all work we undertake.

Do you meet the Australian Building Code?

Yes. Our skilled bathroom team are fully qualified and trained and meet the ​The National Construction Code (NCC) which provides the necessary requirements for safety, health, amenity and sustainability in the design and construction of new buildings (and new building work in existing buildings) throughout Australia. Is my home safe before a renovation?

Our careful and considerate team will ensure your home is safe during the renovation process. We go to great lengths to prepare your home for the task ahead which includes temporary floor protection as well as a complete and thorough clean during handover.
